Welcome to The Nature Trust of BC's Media Page

Our 50 years of protecting and caring for critical habitats for vulnerable wildlife, fish and plants in British Columbia makes us an excellent media resource on land conservation and related stories.

We are pleased to coordinate interviews with our CEO Dr. Jasper Lament, the scientists on our staff and board who help make critical land acquisition decisions and our land managers who offer direct field experience. We also welcome the opportunity to provide background information on a wide range of conservation subjects from British Columbia’s at risk habitats and endangered species to the impact of climate change.

Our portfolio of photographs is available on request.

BC has the most species diversity of any province or territory in Canada. But it also has the most species at risk. One of the best ways to protect species is to protect habitat — and that’s what The Nature Trust of BC does.
