Our Team

Laura was raised in North Vancouver, B.C., where she spent her time outdoors in the beautiful North Shore mountains. She has a Bachelor of Environment from Simon Fraser University. During her undergraduate degree, Laura focused environmental systems and geography.

Laura is enthusiastic about nature and spends her free time outside hiking and looking for strange or fun plants and critters. Her passion for ecological restoration led her to start working at the Nature Trust of BC in 2023, where she started as a member of the South Coast Conservation Field Crew. She is grateful to get to work at the NTBC conservation areas throughout the South Coast region in her current position as the South Coast Field Operations Coordinator.
