Our Team

Steven is an avid hiker and camper living in Nanaimo. Steven has conducted extensive remote fieldwork throughout western and northern Canada, previously being employed as a Terrestrial Ecologist.

Steven leads the Restoration, Monitoring, and Inventory team, contributing to the management of conservation lands across West Coast Region. Typical duties include design and implementation of ecological restoration projects, development and implementation long-term monitoring and inventory projects, and community outreach. Steven holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Science in Botany from the University of British Columbia. Steven is a Registered Professional Biologist in good standing with the BC College of Applied Biologists.

Steven joined the West Coast Conservation Land Management Program in 2019.
