Making a gift in your Will is simple and you still retain control of your assets. You can bequeath cash, securities, property or even a percentage of your estate. It is a wonderful, simple and effective way to help us protect critical habitat for wildlife, plants and fish and to ensure a clean and healthy environment for future generations.
As you consider leaving a gift in your Will, you may want to begin by having a conversation with loved ones, and seek legal advice about creating or updating your Will. We are here to help.
If you are worried you cannot predict the final value of your estate enough to be comfortable pledging a special gift amount, it is possible to give a percentage of your estate. Likewise, your Will can be modified or updated if your circumstances change.
Naming The Nature Trust of BC in your Will is a long-term investment in our mission. It will also result in a tax receipt to your estate that can be used to offset 100% of the net income on your final tax return with excess amounts applied to taxes from the previous year.

But more than that, we want the opportunity to thank you for helping nature in B.C for generations to come. We will respect your privacy and confidentiality.
